About The Owner
Meet Jenna!
Jenna Martinez is a 33-year-old Southern Indiana business owner. She opened The Magic of Books Bookstore in August 2020. She is a wife, mother, avid reader, and gamer. She loves reading Psychological Thrillers and playing Zelda. She met her husband playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live. Owning her own bookshop has been a lifelong dream.
Jenna is also a PA to two authors- Kristy Nicolle and Candra Kylar, and prides herself on championing self published and independent authors!

The Magic of Books Bookstore is an Independent Bookstore in the heart of downtown Seymour. They carry used, and new books. They also carry books published independently and traditionally. She also stocks local Authors. Jenna loves showcasing local talent and helping the community any way she can.

The Magic of Books is planning to have a huge bash with games giveaways and prizes!
When I told my Barista, Jess, that I was looking for a long series to hold my attention, she was flabbergasted to discover I’d never read the Sookie Stackhouse novels, or seen the show True Blood, which is based off them. In between customers who had come in for their daily dose of Botany and Beans magic, she got up google and started showing me some of the ovary-busting hotness that is the male half of the True Blood cast. Colour me intrigued. I found myself downloading the first book there and then, right in the coffee shop. This is my review of the first instalment, Dead Until Dark.
